DESCRIPTION:Borders Landscape.Tankerville Arms Hotel\, Wooler \nOur September Saunter Scenic Run will offer a leisurely drive for Club Members beginning from the familiar Milestone Garden Centre. Taking in a variety of different Border landscapes and a beautiful section of the Tweed valley beloved by J.M.W.Turner we will cross into Northumberland and explore conservation villages. The Tankerville Arms Hotel in Wooler is hosting us for lunch where we can rest and chat. Then onwards hugging the Cheviot hills and taking in the Yetholms before dropping into Kelso mid-afternoon. Whether you spend time in Kelso or head directly home will be your choice. Join us for this relaxing curtain raiser to Autumn.\nPLEASE NOTE THIS IS A SATURDAY ACTIVITY. \nTO REGISTER TO TAKE PART IN THE RUN  –  email chrisjbiggs@btinternet.com and give the following information –\nName\, total number of persons\, car details\, registration number. SUMMARY:August Share a Ride
DESCRIPTION:Our Milestone Breakfast Meets always attract a good variety of member’s cars but have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a short ride in one of your favourites? \nOn Sunday 14th August we will meet as usual and are encouraging members to offer each other short rides in their cars. There are a number of short trips available (5 miles+) and you may choose your own. If you don’t know the area well we will have some suggestions. Members are free to offer as many reciprocal rides as they wish or none at all if they prefer. There is no compulsory element to this and you are welcome to enjoy your usual style of Milestone visit. \nSome members may like to extend their stay over lunchtime as Milestone has facilities. Alternatively if you run out of time on the day you can arrange to meet up on another occasion. \nTHIS ACTIVITY IS ALL ABOUT HAVING FUN. A chance to show other members why you love your particular automobile and expand your knowledge of others. \nCome along\, join in\, have fun \nPlease Note: The weather is looking good! SUMMARY:Club 50th Anniversary Celebration Social Evening
DESCRIPTION:An exclusive members evening at Woodside Walled Garden and Plant Centre\, Ancrum. Bring your favourite vintage or Classic car for display in the woodland car park. Everyone will get a vote for ‘Best Car’ and a trophy will be awarded to the winner. A buffet supper will be provided with a special Celebration gateau to finish. A ‘Mocktails’ Bar will be available on a pay as you go basis. We will have exclusive use of this beautiful setting for the evening and you will have freedom to roam the gardens.  \nFinal details have now been confirmed. The cost per person will be £18 payable at Woodside on the night.
